For its 9th edition, the PhotoVoltaic Technical Conference evolves and will address new topics covering integration and usages. As a result, PVTC becomes i-PVTC, integrated Photovoltaic Technical Conference: “From advanced materials and technologies to multiscale integration and usages”.

This is the 9th event of a series of international PV specialty conferences and for the first time, it will take place in Cassis, Southern France. You will be warmly welcomed in this little fishing harbour, nestling between two exceptional natural sites, the famous Massif des Calanques and the majestic Cap Canaille offering its visitors a concentrate of Provence, and the Mediterranean Sea.

Each year, this conference welcomes international speakers and attendees coming from all over the world. Last edition in 2017 featured academic and industrial attendees from more than 20 countries.

This 9th edition will be organized in 5 sessions:

SESSION 1: Materials and Technologies for Advanced Solar cells and Modules

SESSION 2: Manufacturing, Processing, Equipment and Challenges

SESSION 3: Product Integrated- (PIPV), Vehicle Integrated- (VIPV) and Building Integrated- PhotoVoltaics (BIPV)

SESSION 4: Photovoltaic Energy Management: Storage, Self-Production, Self-Consumption & Smart-Grids

SESSION 5: Photovoltaic in Mediterranean, Desert, Mountain, Tropical and Nordic Climates i-PVTC will feature plenary oral presentations given by worldwide renowned experts in the field, as well as poster and exhibition sessions.

The development of solar cells and modules will be driven by the mutual exchange between market requirements and future uses and technological innovation. In that respect, the integrated Photovoltaic Technical Conference offers an excellent opportunity for the whole value chain, from equipment and material suppliers up to application driven players and from academic research institutions up to downside industry, to share and discuss leading-edge photovoltaic technologies.
