Green Technology is vital for sustainable development to meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Development of green and sustainable technologies enable significant savings in the use of energy and materials, substitute the use of non-renewable, non-biodegradable, or extractive resources to renewable, biodegradable, and/or restorative inputs, and reduce or prevent emissions, contaminations, and negative environmental impacts. International Symposium on Green & Sustainable Technology (ISGST 2017), organized by Centre of Environment and Green Technology (CEGT), will provide a platform for the dissemination of knowledge and the latest developments in the area of green and sustainable technology across an international academic fraternity. With the success of ISGST2014 previously held, ISGST2017 will scale to a new height in the international scene.
The International Symposium Green and Sustainable Technology will provide a common forum for researchers, scientists, engineers, and practitioners not only in Malaysia but throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments, and applications on Green and Sustainable Technology. The general public will gain knowledge on how Green Technology can help us reduce our carbon footprint and minimize climate change.
