Celebrating its 21st anniversary, the National Ethanol Conference (NEC) is the most widely attended executive level conference for the ethanol industry. Next February, your participation will be crucial as speakers and sessions delve into pressing issues facing the ethanol industry. Today, the U.S. leads the world in ethanol production and exports, and exports of coproducts continue to expand across the globe. These export markets are critical to the future growth and financial health of the industry, particularly in light of the challenges we face to fully implement the RFS and grow the domestic industry.
Since 1996, the RFA’s National Ethanol Conference has been recognized as the preeminent conference for delivering accurate, timely information on marketing, legislative, and regulatory issues facing the ethanol industry. With numerous networking opportunities, more business meetings are conducted and contacts made at this conference than any other ethanol conference.
In 2014, more than 1,000 industry leaders and professionals attended the NEC, representing 40 states, the District of Columbia, and 16 countries. The majority attend for the networking opportunities (80.2%), followed closely by to learn more about government policies (75%) and for business development (64.5%).
